Morning Devotion: Read Psalm 122

Psalms 122:6  ¶Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. 7  Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. 8  For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. 9  Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.

The epicenter of all the world is Israel and the apple of the eye of God is Jerusalem. All throughout history (His Story) is focused on Israel. From the calling of Abram out of Ur of the Chaldees to the promise land until now God has blessed Israel. God blesses those who bless Israel.

Genesis 12:3  And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

While the world is against Israel (except the United States) God is still working on her behalf. The two last strongholds for freedom and peace are Israel and the U.S., who do you think is being attacked the most and why? Answer: because of the Lord. The devil, the world, and the unsaved hate the Lord.

We know that salvation is of the Jews; Jesus was Jewish. He was born in the city of David with His mother being Mary a Jew.

John 4:22  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

Since the world hates God and the Jewish people it must also hate Jesus.

John 7:7  The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

Little does the world know, it will be Jesus who takes His believers home in the rapture. It will be Jesus who brings us back for the millennium. It will be Jesus rules in the millennium and Jesus who will ultimately judge the world in righteousness.

God/Jesus will judge those who are against Israel.

Zechariah 2:8  For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye. 9  For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.

Even in the end times, after the Tribulation and during the Millennium, people will want to go to Jerusalem to worship.  They will go with the Jews.

Isaiah 2:1  ¶The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3  And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

4  And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

5  O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Zechariah 8:20  Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: 21  And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. 22  Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. 23  Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

The world, although against God and the Jews and Jesus, will one day worship Him.

The choice is still yours,
