Morning Devotion: Questions and Answers

Question: I heaven real? Answer: Yes.

God created heaven.

Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Colossians 1:16  For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

Since God created the heaven, it is His. He can do with it as He pleases. He can set the parameters for those who enter in and those who don’t. His parameter is righteousness in Christ Jesus.

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

As kindly as I know how, I say; you cannot get to the Father, you cannot get to heaven apart from Jesus Christ being your Lord and Saviour. Being a good religious person does not afford you heaven. Doing good deeds does not merit heaven. Being a faithful religious person does not grant an entrance into heaven. Being Catholic, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Christian reformed, Baptist or any other denomination does not get you into heaven. In fact, if you are not born again, saved by Christ, you cannot even see the kingdom of heaven let alone enter into it.

John 3:3  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

2 Corinthians 4:3  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

The god of this world is the devil/satan. He made the religions of the world to reroute you from the truth. He hates God and you because you were made in the image of God. His only desire is to see you dead and suffering.

Now, go ahead and practice your religion in your self righteousness and pride and see where that gets you. The devil wants you to do that. He wants you to follow his road to death and hell. If you do, the devil wins.

1 Peter 5:8  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

Or, you can follow God’s plan of salvation and enjoy heaven. You can enjoy a blessed relationship with God. You can enjoy eternity and Zion forever. In Christ, you not only can see the kingdom of heaven, you can be with the Father and he will be your God.

Revelation 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

The choice is still yours,
