Morning Devotion: Questions and Answers

Question: I heaven real? Answer: Yes

We have already seen that God created heaven and the there are three heavens, the atmosphere, outer space and the place where God is. It is also a place where we, the believer, have waiting for us, an eternal place with God.

Revelation 21:3  And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

While we cannot fully describe something we have not yet experienced, we can describe what God has revealed to us.

1 Corinthians 2:9  But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Through God’s word we find some wonderful truths. In Reading Revelation chapters 21 and 22 we find the blessings of heaven.

In heaven, there will be no more death, no more sorrow, no tears, crying and no pain.

Revelation 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

There will be no temple there, for God Himself will be there.

Revelation 21:22  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

There will be no more sun or moon for Jesus is our light.

Revelation 21:23  And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

No more night and the gates will always be open.

Revelation 21:25  And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

There will be no more curse.

Revelation 22:3  And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

What a stark contrast between heaven and hell.

Revelation 22:15  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

My friend, don’t miss it.

We are given so many blessings simply by being born-again.

2 Peter 1:2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

My friend, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

The choice is still yours,

Pastor Cook
