Luke 2:6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

These nine verses comprise the true Christmas story. They are the fulfilment of God’s promise to send a saviour who was chosen from the foundation of the world.
Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
1 Peter 1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
My friend, the entire bible, from Genesis to Revelation was written that you might know of Jesus the Saviour, the Messiah, the Christ, the Anointed one and the only one to save your soul.
He was born to die for the sins of the entire world, for your sins personally, and He did.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
He is God’s gift to you.
Jesus was at a well speaking with a woman and said in John 4:10: “If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.”
She then exclaimed in John 4:25: “I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
And Jesus spoke a great truth in verse 26: “I that speak unto thee am he.”
There is one gift, that gift is Jesus and from Jesus there is the gift of eternal life.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Christmas is all about Jesus. MERRY CHRISTMAS
