Nobody should ever want to be an abomination or abominable to God.
When you justify sin, in any form or fashion, you become an abomination to God. You become detestable to God and are at enmity with God.
Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
I wonder how many parents justify and even promote their children living in sin and when reproved they condemn the one who is trying to show them righteousness?
I wonder how many corporations embrace evil and justify the wicked and condemn the just?
I wonder how many institutions embrace evil and justify the wicked and condemn the just?
I wonder how many nations and leaders of nations embrace evil and justify the wicked and condemn the just?
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! 22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: 23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
Proverbs 14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
Let’s bring it back to you - Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
Do you justify, accept, applaud, embrace that which is wicked in the eyes of the Lord? Do you condemn those who endeavour to show you the right and good way?
Jesus never accepted sin, He condemned sin.
Jesus did everything possible for the sinner to be reconciled to God. He even went so far as to give His very life to save the sinner from being an abomination to God. He despised sin and shame and died openly on a cruel cross while the wicked ridiculed Him and condemned Him. They justified themselves and condemned the righteous one, Jesus.
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
My friend, never justify wickedness and never condemn the just, it only makes you abominable to God.
Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.
No abominable person will ever enter the gates of heaven.
Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
The choice is still yours,
