Morning Devotion: Read

1Corinthians 15:22  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. 24  Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25  For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27  For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28  And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Luke 2:11  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

God has enacted His plan which was established before the foundation of the world. That plan is salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:20  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

God’s plan is that Jesus would be born and be the Saviour of the world: Not only a Saviour but a King and a ruler until all the enemies of God be subdued to Him. Then all things will be delivered up to God that God will be all in all.

My friend, God’s plan is active right now. Everything is moving along nicely and according to the will of God. Those who would be saved are part of the first fruits of Christ, while those who are not are destined to be subdued.

Every person is born in the sin of Adam yet, every person can be a part of Christ and a part of His redemption.

Make no mistake, everyone and everything will be subject to Christ and ultimately subject to God that God may be all in all.

Philippians 2:9  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Would you chose to bow the knee to Christ; would you humble yourself and accept the fact that Jesus Christ is Lord? Would you be on the right side of God’s plan and be saved forever? That is why Jesus came. Jesus is the gift of God.

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
