Morning Devotion: Read Proverbs

Proverbs 21:21  He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.
Whatever you pursue, that you will find. If you pursue righteousness you will find it.

If you pursue blood, you will surely find blood.

If you pursue sin, you will find sin.

If you pursue violence, you will find violence.

If you pursue lust, you will find it.

Whatever you pursue, you will find.

Jesus said, pursue Him and you will find Him. Learn of Him and you will find rest unto your soul.

Matthew 11:28  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

There is a promise with our text. Proverbs 21:21  He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.

Following Jesus will bring righteousness, mercy, life, and honour.
