Morning Devotion: Read Proverbs
Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
As we saw in our devotion yesterday, There are those who forsake the law and praise the wicked. Here those same people, the evil ones, do so because there is a lack of understanding concerning the judgment of God.
To have no understanding of the law of God is to live without restraint. The only restraint would be that of the law of man which can be circumvented and manipulated especially if the wicked and evil are the ruling party.
Evil men are naturally blind to true justice because of the iniquity laced in their own lives and the influence of the devil.
2Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
The Christian, the born again believer seeks the Lord and understands all things.
1John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
1John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Just stop and think: if you have the Word of God and your are saved filled with the Spirit of God and you are reading the Word of God and the Spirit of God is helping you to understand what you read, you will see the difference between good and evil and you will understand all things.
Proverbs 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.
There is a difference.
Psalms 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
To be genuinely saved is to spiritually minded.
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
The choice is still yours,
