Morning Devotion: Read Proverbs

Proverbs 29:27  An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

There will always be the just and the unjust until the Lord Jesus returns. One day all things will be made right and the just will be the only thing that remains.

There will never be reconciliation between the just and the unjust, they will always be in abomination one to another until Jesus comes or until Jesus saves their soul.

1Peter 3:18  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

While the just will hide themselves from conflict the unjust will openly, blatantly and sometimes viciously oppose the just.

Proverbs 28:28  When the wicked rise, men hide themselves: but when they perish, the righteous increase.

Proverbs 29:2  When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

We must understand that such things exist because of sin and the influence of the unjust one.

Ephesians 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Those who are genuinely born-again understand the principle for we were unjust at one point.

1Corinthians 6:11  And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

In the end God will separate the two.

Revelation 22:11  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. 12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

My unjust friend, would you place your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ making you one of the just?

My born-again and just friend, would you take the time reach the unjust for the Lord praying for their salvation?

Proverbs 29:27  An unjust man is an abomination to the just: and he that is upright in the way is abomination to the wicked.

The choice is still yours,

Pastor Cook
