Morning Devotion: Read Proverbs

Proverbs 30:24  There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise: 25  The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; 26  The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; 27  The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; 28  The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.

Moving forward, we see the last of four things that are little yet are exceeding wise.  The spider, while generally looked upon with repugnance and are often eradicated, reminds us of the word of God which permeates every place upon earth.

In the book of proverbs, we know God’s wisdom and word is in the gate way calling to others to hear.

Proverbs 1:20  Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: 21  She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, 22  How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

The word of God is in all the earth.

Romans 10:17  So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 18  But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

In Mark chapter 13, we find the Word of God must be preached in all the world before the Lord Jesus returns.

Mark 13:10  And the gospel must first be published among all nations.

My friend, that has already happened. The world is saturated with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is available everywhere, just like spider that lingers in the corners the Word of God is everywhere. Think about it for a moment; the Word of God has been given world wide in every language. That language is one, it is called the dot and the dash. It is the language of the computer.  Computers, cell phones and yes, even the wristwatches, have computer the technology to speak any language via the dot and the dash.

The gospel is written in the stars, it is written in creation; God’s Word is here and there and everywhere for any who would take time to see and listen.

We have Christmas, which is a time of reflection on the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord. We have the spring time resurrection of Christ. Our calendars, our seven days of the week.  There are many other things revealing Christ and the gospel by which we can be saved.

God has provided mankind everything he needs to know Him, everything. He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

If you desire to be saved and experience the love from God through His Son Jesus Christ you may.

By faith, simply pray this prayer believing with all your heart. "God I know I am a sinner in need of salvation. I now repent of my sin asking you to save me. Please come into my heart and save my soul for I cannot save myself. I now place my faith and trust in Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour whom you have sent."

Please let us know if you have made that decision.

The choice is still yours,

Pastor Cook
