Morning Devotion: Read Proverbs
Proverbs 29:22 An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.
Proverbs 14:17 He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.
Proverbs 22:24 Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go: 25 Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
The angry man often violates the laws whether they be of man or of God. He is in the transgression.
Proverbs 29:6 In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.
Transgression is the violation of the law and most assuredly brings a snare for it is that which condemns.
David prayed a wonderful prayer in Psalm 19:13 “Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.”
The great transgression is the reject of God and our Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.
Putting all this together we find the angry man transgresseth. One cannot walk in communion with the Lord and keep an angry wrathful spirit as well and a calm passionate spirit. They just don’t mix.
1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
2John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Are you a born again believer? Has the Lord Jesus Christ changed your spirit? Are a new creature in Christ?
2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
